The Beef Shorthorn Cattle Society are pleased to confirm that the initial trials of branded Shorthorn beef have been successful. Negotiations and plans are in hand to try and ensure a further supply of this top quality product with the co-operation of breeders, commercial farmers, United Auctions, Scotbeef and Marks and Spencers.
The Beef Shorthorn is the ideal breed for the production of a choice high quality beef with its suitability for extensive and organic farming systems and its proven marbling and early finishing abilities.
