News from the Shows
As ever, the popular North Somerset show kicked off the South West area showing season. Just for once the weather held fair, apart from a sharp shower in the afternoon and the show attracted its usual bumper crowd, several of our members will be showing around the area during the year and these are their results from the first two shows.

No sooner was this show over than it was time to turn round again for the major South West Devon County Show. This is always a pleasure to attend, facilities are excellent and the three days are a wonderful celebration of showmanship and socialising.
With more shorthorn competitors at this show, it was good to see the Beef Shorthorn cattle lines sporting very contented and excellently presented stock.
